One of Benjamin Andrew Construction's core values is building relationships both with clients and across our industry with vendors, sub-contractors, and show rooms. This project was another collaborative effort with a forward thinking landscape design company, Ed Castro Landscape, to produce a backyard oasis in Buckhead -- one that bespeaks relaxation and peace, along with easy maintenance (no vast lawns for summer mowing!). 

BIG PICTURE

Thanks to an amazing design, this terraced backyard takes a typical retaining wall and ground cover and transforms it into a private retreat - one that feels expansive, yet intimate. 

CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS

We came alongside the homeowners & landscape architect and constructed these terraced set of planters to hold the new privacy screen -- black bamboo. What a fresh take on the classic Atlanta privacy hedge -- the typical cypress, which you can see in the background. This update has a feathery, delicate feel that filters the sunlight, instead of blocking it entirely. Merrill Family, we hope you enjoy your new backyard oasis, the perfect place to steal a bit of quiet in this busy metro area!
