Doubling your Home

Renovations and remodeling many times is about taking an existing footprint and reorganizing or updating the spaces within to better suit a families needs; however, sometimes it’s all about a bigger footprint. Thinking outside the box.

One of our latest projects takes on the updating process to the limit. What to do with a tiny master bedroom no larger than the spare rooms? What to do with a laundry closet inside the kitchen? Add a whole wing on to your home with a master bedroom and bath, laundry room (forget about the closet), playroom, AND an extra bedroom. Then, add some more space to your current kitchen, living and dining rooms, which allows you to stretch and open out those spaces, improving the flow and design of these spaces.

BEDROOM WING — JUST THE FOOTPRINT

Check out that exterior fireplace — a true center piece for the new outdoor living space. The fireplace is mirrored on the interior of the master bedroom and both fireplaces share the flue.

Dining Room & Patio Addition — footprint

This addition will contain the dining room and patio that will open up the kitchen and living rooms in the original footprint.
